Meet Dr. Nancy Shen

Dr. Nancy Shen is committed to providing the highest quality of care for your child. Dr. Nancy grew up in St. Louis, obtained her undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis, and is excited to be back in her hometown. She is a board certified pediatric dentist who earned her degree in dental medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Through her honors projects and community service, Dr. Nancy developed her passion of providing care for children and for those with special health care needs. She pursued these passions through advanced specialty training in pediatric dentistry on the campus of Rady Children’s Hospital, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Nancy chose pediatric dentistry because helping children have a healthy smile is rewarding. Dr. Nancy also shares, “The journey towards a lifetime of bright smiles and health can range from needing routine check-ups to life changing treatments. Partnering with families and providing quality care for their kids through each step of that rewarding journey are just a few reasons why I chose pediatrics.”

In their free time, she and her husband enjoy volunteering in the community, sharing meals with family and friends, relaxing with a good book, and playing tennis.
